What happens on the day of filming?

On the day, our crew arrives with everything we need to capture the best possible stories including state of the art lighting and camera equipment.

We have filmed in hundreds of care homes (in fact our running total is over 300) so we instinctively know what we can and can’t film. We’ll also work with you beforehand to discuss any other sensitive areas that we need to be aware of.

We are very used to working with and interviewing residents and we have found that most people love having us there on the day – we have a lot of fun capturing footage and the video crew is used to dealing with everything from unexpected evacuations (of every kind!!) to amorous residents.

Post production

After we’ve finished filming with you – your footage goes straight into the edit to be crafted into your finished film.

In most cases, the editing takes much longer than the filming. This is purely because we need to go through all of the interview footage to pick out the very best bits from our time with you.  We then pair this with the best shots to help tell your story and colour grade it before it comes to you for the first viewing.

If you have any changes to the film, you have two rounds of amends included in the cost of the video. This is to ensure that you’re fully satisfied with the end result.
